Mid-Level Associate: Capital Solutions and Private Credit Practice

The New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP is seeking to hire a mid-level associate for our Capital Solutions and Private Credit Practice. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of private credit or finance matters, including experience working on direct lending, secured and unsecured debt financing, special situations, liability management transactions, distressed M&A, and debt restructuring, including experience in exchange and consent offers, backstop arrangements, rights offerings, and exit financings. Experience in asset-backed financings or junior capital/mezzanine financing are a plus. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, collaborative, and multidisciplinary team involving our market leading Debt Finance and Bankruptcy and Restructuring practices. Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York and have excellent credentials.

Associate Salary: The base salary for associate positions is $225,000 to $435,000, depending upon class year.
